My training for certification in Psycho-Spiritual Integration and Integrative Breathwork was with author and internationally known therapist Jacquelyn Small. The method is a derivative of Holotropic Breathwork developed by Stanislav Grof M.D. This is a deep experiential technique that works directly with the deep psyche. It involves lying down with eyes shut, while breathing deeply, and listening to powerfully evocative music. This facilitates deep level healing that can unfold in highly individualized ways. Focused energy work is sometimes offered. The session ends with processing and integration. Psycho-Spiritual Integration and Integrative Breathwork can be done individually or in groups.
